Greetings and Salutations One and All! I do hope that this blog finds you all well and happy! Well it’s been quite a week for me lots of obstacles and challenges presented themselves to me! But with each one I give gratitude for the opportunity to grow! This week’s show features an amazing man whom I met through a mutual friend. For almost an hour he and I chatted and he truly is a pioneer in his field. And is breaking ground in some pretty amazing territory with his teachings! A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in cultural anthropology, his interests have taken him from National Geographic-funded archeological expeditions to Mayan ruins in the jungles of Yucatan, to three years of intensive study of meditation, self-inquiry, and yoga in India.

 

Strohecker has served on the numerous boards, including the Board of Trustees of the American University of Complementary Medicine and the Institute of Natural Medicine, the President’s Advisory Council for Bastyr University, as well as serving on numerous advisory boards including Nourish America, Academy for Guided Imagery, the Dove Health Alliance, the National Workforce Health Economics Summit, and the National Wellness, Prevention and Fitness Conference. He is a member of the Transformational Leadership Council of Southern California.

Illuminations of Light LIVE! Presents….The Incredible Crew from Prophet or Madman TV!

Greetings and Salutations One and All! Tomorrow night we have an amazing treat for all of you! The phenomenal team from the new hit internet television show ” Prophet or Madman”. This team will have you in stitches from the first moment! Crazy and fun guys with a great concept, and Ice-Cream Man having conversations with god! They are totally conscious! They are totally hysterical! And they are right on time! Come and find out who these two veterans of the entertainment industry are and what their latest project is all about! Who are these wild and crazy guys! Steve Allen, a legend in his own time!

Steve Allen  … Actor … Co-Exective Producer … Co-Creator of the web series

Steve Allen boasts an 18-year career as a public relations executive during which time he has been either a founder or co-founder of four different media communications companies, Allen Mora Media, Enlightened Innertainment, and Talkaboutable Media.  His duties have included promoting and overseeing over 100 public relations campaigns, designing and developing ideas for clients, managing their careers and promoting clients’ images on local and national levels.  Steve is currently directing his own bi-coastal public relations firm, with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, which specializes in promoting material of an educating, stimulating and enlightening nature. http://www.SteveAllenMedia.com

He also had a career prior to the PR world in the world of the performing arts.  Steve was an actor and director. His theatrical works appeared on the stages of the Steppenwolf Theatre and Goodman Theatre in Chicago, the off Broadway theaters of New York, and numerous regional theaters of the U.S. and Canada..  Steve’s claim to fame in the world of television is his portrayal as the Father of the Ugly Baby character on The Seinfeld Show. He is a happily married man, with 4 grown chilren. Along his continued awakening journey, Steve can be heard often saying to his pals … “I am coming home more often and staying longer”.

Then we have the amazing Bruce Adams….

Bruce Adams is neither a theologian, a Bible scholar, a pastor, nor a teacher.  In fact, he is now an ice-cream man.  He was a successful businessman for some 25 years before he had the surprise of his life.  On a Saturday morning in 1996, when Bruce was poised to launch a potentially huge moneymaking machine, he took his 9-year-old son, Michael, ice-skating.  “There I was, gliding along, listening to the music…when all of a sudden, something happened.  The music, as well as the sound of the people, seemed to fall silent, just as if I had become temporarily deaf.  The next thing I heard was a voice.  This voice was unlike anything I had ever heard in the past.  It seemed to be not limited to my mind, but dimensional.  By this, I mean that it was both internal and audible at the same time.  I did not know how to take what was happening to me, especially when I saw that I was being given specific instructions to change the direction of my life.  I was being told to forego this million dollar business project  because there was something else I had to do.”

Thereafter, Bruce began a regimen of daily meditation.  His perception of life was drastically changed, and was replaced with something far different.  “Life, it seemed, was taking on new meaning.  Faith that there was something more was replaced with direct experience.”  Then one night ” I was sleeping and unaware of anything that was going on in my dream state, when I experienced something that made the voice I heard earlier seem trivial in comparison.  The best I can describe it is to say that I felt wide-awake, yet I knew that my body was resting.  I was both in the body and outside it.  I could think, but there was no need to.  I saw myself, for lack of a better word, as a formless consciousness.  Where was I?  There was nothing familiar about this place, because it had no form, and at the same time there was the sensation of comfort.  It was like the feeling of comfort you have in the safety of your own home….In that moment, I became aware of the whole of Creation as one presence.  Upon coming back into my thinking mind, I recall being told to write about what I had experienced.  I jumped out of bed and got my pad and pen”.   The book Prophet or Madman was the amazing result.

I’ve been an ordained minister for forty four years now, so you’d think I’d know a thing or two about these spiritual matters.  On the contrary, the deepest profundity I’ve been able to manage is to try to live my life in accordance with the Golden Rule.  So that’s what I do and have advised others to do through my social work as a founder of the National Optimists Party.  Yet on a personal level, the fact of the matter is that while, over time, I’ve found myself with an increasing sense of awe and reverence for the magnificence of creation, I’ve experienced a receding sense of understanding and familiarity with the Creator.  Imagine my good fortune to run into Bruce Adams, a fine soul whose ears are directly attuned to the Creator’s frequency.  I’m looking forward to learning a lot and enjoying myself immensely as I join Bruce and my good friend Steve on our lighthearted spiritual journey all across this great land looking for the soul of America.
